There is one word that comes to my mind thinking about Sandi: she truly cared. I got to know Sandi when I moved to Toronto 10 years ago, where she was one of the first to welcome me. I worked with her in global roles and also as part of the Toronto EmpowereD team. She was passionate about developing younger colleagues, relentless sharing her experience, coaching, always combined with her smile and laughter. She cared, a colleague and a friend who made a difference. I will never forget her. My sincerest condolences to her family. Rest in peace Sandi.
