Dearest Tawanda and Tomike,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your mum. Mrs Lana was a fundamental part of teens and into early 20s for me. I will always have fond memories of how with just a look or a few words your mum could keep me focused and made me a more reflective person. It was a skill that really helped as we were growing up and I am honoured to have had an ‘aunty’ like your mum.
Death is but a brief parting and ours is to keep making your mum proud as she looks down.
My best wishes to you both and your mum’s family, friends and loved ones.
Rest in Peace Mrs Lana and thank you for your warmth and kindness when we were all together in Nigeria.
Yours with sympathy
