I remember Roy as a friend to my brother, Jim, and as a brother to my friend Pat. Our families had a long connection as my Mum went to school with his Mum and I (vaguely) remember visiting her family house in Hurstville – a number of times, I think, as well as his old family house in Sutherland. Roy has always been interested in people and made you feel relaxed talking to him. Even after years of not seeing him, it felt as though the years had floated away when we connected again. Chris (who also knew him before we met) remembers spearfishing trips and barbecues and says he will miss him. Our condolences go to Denise and all of his family and I’m sure he will be sadly missed by all that knew him but especially his family. Rest In Peace Roy. Love to all of his family/ies
