Rotimi was my paddy both in school & after we left. Whenever we had the set meeting, he would drop me at Stadium in Surukere when going home.
The most remarkable thing I will never forget was when he used his back as a writing table for Mr Fowler to sign my son's employment letter on the stairs of LIRS at the Shepherds house (Alausa)

I met him through his beloved wife Bose Agbaje nee Odukoya. Who is also a Sister and colleague way back at Yabatech, from that first meeting Mr Rorimi Agbaje struck me as a very pleasant, gentle easy going and open person. A combination very rare to find in this clime today. Over the years I have come to accept and address him as my friend and brother by virtue of being Bose's committed and loving husband, also by his sincerity of purpose and openness. Alas we are going to miss this our brother and his gentle smiles though for a while cos I know and fully persuaded that we shall meet on resurrection morning. My brother, my friend, as you fly on the wings of the angels rest in the bosom of your Saviour. Fare thee well.
