Actually most of the time I spent with you from my UOM attachment. It's a big shock for me. But still we have to accept it and remember the good memories. You are true gentleman with positive vibes. Will remember our last walk with you. May your soul test in peace and hope your family can overcome the situation quickly.
I only knew you for a few months but I came to like and respect you quickly and with ease. A true gent.
We'll always cherish the memories we shared with you. Your love and warmth will continue to inspire us every day. Your presence may no longer be here, but your spirit and energy remain with us. You'll forever hold a special place in our hearts. May your soul rest in peace and my prayers are with you and your family.

I met Rick aka ‘missile’ at Hull uni in 1983. We played football together - he was actually a talented centre back. I would say we became good mates at uni and for a year or so after then gradually lost touch as you do. I was so shocked to see this and learn of Rick’s passing. He was a good guy - good fun, liked a beer and enjoyed his sport. He worked hard then and I can well imagine his integrity shone through his work career. Poignant to think both my sons were at Manchester uni where Rick worked for most of his career. Rick was a good guy and I am upset to learn of his passing all too soon. My deepest sympathy to his loved ones. Rest in peace missile xxx
