I remember the first time I meet daddy and how he patiently investigated my past, present and future actions, yet to be designed. After this I was immediately overcome by worry if i had passed my test but fortunately for me daddy made me so comfortable and welcome. The discussions then moved towards the never ending tales of Nigeria on which our points of view always bonded. I was equally fascinated with how he would make time to come every Sunday from church to see the family, I always looked forward to seeing and hearing his encouraging words about family, parenting, life and God almighty, daddy always cherished the love of his grandchildren and the love his family had for him. Daddy was uniquely different from the rest of the family. He was eternally humble, patient, filling with wisdom, and an embodiment of love. Every time I saw him he would ask me how my family and I were doing, he would encourage me to be intentional patient with life and dedicate everything into the hands of the Almighty. He always had a smile on his face and you could tell he loved every member of his family. Daddy had a strong appreciation for the simplest things of life, the arts and languages, wherever the place or situation, unlike many of us who only see challenges through lives journeys. He really cared a lot about his relationship with the almighty, people he met and places he encountered. I will miss you Daddy every day of my life but have no doubt that you are seated in heaven and smiling down on us all. Rest well daddy - Ifeanyi George Olele and family
