Having learned with dismay of the death of Rev. Thomas Sayibu Imoro, former Director and Board Chairman of GILLBT, the Executive Director of ATALTRAB, on behalf of the Board Chairman and all members of the Association, sends its deepest condolences to GILLBT and the family of the deceased.
In this moment of sorrow and sadness, due to the departure of the Servant of God for heavenly bliss, we know that the consolation and comfort of relatives, friends and collaborators can only come from God. Therefore, we invite you to read with us the following biblical passages which for us can certainly soothe the hearts of one another:
"The Lord is near those who are broken-hearted, and he saves those who are weary in spirit." Psalms 34:19.
"The death of those who love him is precious in the sight of the Lord" Psalms 116:15.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes," said the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow them," Revelation 14:13.
Indeed, God's servant is invited by the Sovereign Father for eternal rest; now he is in the place where there are no more tears or suffering.
We pray that the Almighty God, the Comforter, will appease the afflicted hearts and keep them in His peace and love in Jesus Christ!
