Renee Wilder

July 18, 1956 - May 17, 2020

Renee was the life and soul of every party. She had such a good sense of humour. Renee was the beloved wife of Roy Wilder and Mother to Lisa and Matthew and the most amazing Nanna to Hannah, Ava, Isabella, Ryan, Liam and Ellie. Mum will be sorely missed. Life as we know it will never be the same. Mum had the most kindest heart, she would do anything for anyone. Ahh we will miss her laugh, her hearty laughter and beautiful smile. We love her so much and will never be forgotten

Renee, you showed such strength and courage to the very end. I hope I’m half as brave as you. A beautiful and kind heart. The life and soul of the party (you were the party). Always so welcoming and a laugh a minute. “Put this glass in your hand Renee or they won’t recognise you” haha you and Noreen were a double act. I’m gonna miss seeing your prosecco brunches on Facebook. Our get togethers won’t be the same without you. Who will take the piss out of us lot? We will raise a toast today and celebrate your life. Celebrate the beautiful little empire you leave behind. Here’s my favourite pic of us at my 30th (I think) lol. Rest now Renee. Love always Cristina xxx

So so many memories, going back 50 or so years, starting at St. Edmunds where Noreen and I met in the first year and then later when Renee started - all of them incredibly happy, usually involving copious amounts of alcohol, well as dearest Renee would say, it would be rude not to!! and laughter, laughter, laughter all the way. Photo is of our first holiday to Ibiza, Talamanca, July 1972 with my special life long friend Noreen, Renee would have been 16 at the time. I would like to say that we led Renee astray, but as you know, it was probably the other way around!!! I will miss so much hearing my Mark cry with laughter whilst on Facebook, I have lost count of the times his head would go back, then the shoulders would start going up and down and then the hysterical tears would start - I would just look over at him and say 'Renee' and he would nod uncontrollably. I have a video of myself and Renee being very silly trying to get ping pong balls out of a twerk box by jumping around all over the place a couple of years ago and Noreen didn't do much better in her face off with Mark, it is too painful to post now, but in time...……. I bless Noreen so so much for organising our last get together in Fulham, the day before the total lock down. We will love and remember you always dearest Renee. You have the most amazing family including, Noreen, Roy, Lisa-Marie and Matthew and of course your wonderful adored grandchildren and all your other loving family and friends - we are sure you can feel the love. So we shall sign off now, but just saying...…... we love you to the moon and back. Teresa and Mark xxxxx

When Renee said ‘ I am not being funny but’,we knew something funny was about to be said.Or she said ‘How rude’,we also knew it would be !. Words cannot say how much she will be missed, her laugh, her wise words, her friendship, her humour and her sheer devotion to Roy,Lisa,Matt etc. She will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts,we adored her. There are not too many people in this world that was truly special, she was or should we say she is. Love you Renee lots and thank you for being our friend. We always said ‘Love you ‘when we finished our phone calls, that’s how we were with each other. A large piece of our hearts has gone, what else can be said at this hellish time. Prayers for your cherished lovely family, and when we meet again Renee we will have a righteous time and a good laugh like we always used to have. Our love to you.

When I think of you and mum together a few things come to mind; the never ending laughter you had, your laughs are as loud and infectious as your hearts and the random delicious restaurants you took us too. Take care love to you all xxx
