I had the pleasure of touring with Renée in the early 90s. We had done 3 shows as support so far and not seen Renée at all except for on stage.
Once we got to Gisborn we had 2 days off.
I was standing by the pool and I saw Renée approaching me, as soon as she was close enough her first words to me were, Why are you wearing that ( A star of David carving around my neck ) My mother was Jewish, was my reply.
Ohh that's fine then, was Renée's come back, she hugged me and the tour rolled on.
Best tour I ever did, thank you Renée for your music and letting me be a small part of it.
