While sailing for several years have kept us apart, in 1990 we met again at Institute Maritime du Quebec in LaSalle, Montreal, where we attended the Tanker Endorsement course.
In 2001 he joined TCMSS Ottawa Headquarters and since, being single at that time, I offered him to live at my place; where he stayed until his transfer to Vancouver on March 2003.
Professionally in TCMSS, we have always been connected sharing ideas, opinions and solutions.
Personally, I lost a colleague and a good friend.
