John Badia

September 15, 1982 - May 8, 2021

A humble and virtuous man sent to serve the people of Africa and walk in purpose. A man who imparted his knowledge. A loving husband to his wife and caring father to his children. A son, brother, uncle, friend, colleague, mentor and a Dr to many. We are thankful for his life and the impact he had on the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know him.

Hearts are heavy, hearts are bleeding! Gone too soon and unexpected. But now that you on the other side of life we know you are our guardian Angel. You were a selfless human being with so much love. We love you so much Uncle John. So much. Please go rest. Until we meet again. ♥️❤️

Gone too soon! His dedication is as yet unparalleled! Gave his all to save my life from possible danger one memorable night at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and God led me to John Hope's Clinic! He left an indelible mark on my family & I! I am not sure I can come to terms with such a tragic loss!

As the Motsieloa family, we received the news of Dr Badia’s passing with shock and disbelief. We wish to pass our sincere condolences to his family and his loved ones. Dr Badia has left footprints in the medical field, in the communities he served, families and individuals’ hearts. Nothing throws you off center than the inability to assist your loved ones in their time of need, especially when they are sick, and you are not able to be close to offer comfort and support. This was the situation we found ourselves in as a family when our only living parent fell ill. Call it luck, coincidence or the will of God, we put our parent in the care of Dr Badia, with full trust in him and the powers that make him the healer he was. While other people are very good medical doctors who look after patients, we found Dr Badia to be a good human being first who happen to be an excellent doctor who looked after people who were sick. He was totally committed to his calling of being of service to people desperately needing to get well, free of disease. His presence, attention to detail genuine care are the footprints he left with individuals in families and in the community. “If you have a footprint, be happy because it means that you aren’t a shadow!” – Mehmet Murat Ildan Dr Badia has left his footprint where it matters most, in the minds and hearts of his patients. He was a caring human being, an all-round fantastic soul and a brilliant doctor. May the beautiful memories of the life and love he shared with his close family comfort them. May the memories give them strength to go on and live their life the way he would have wished them to. Time heals we are told. May time we all had with him be the starting point of our healing and in time to heal completely.
