John Badia

September 15, 1982 - May 8, 2021

A humble and virtuous man sent to serve the people of Africa and walk in purpose. A man who imparted his knowledge. A loving husband to his wife and caring father to his children. A son, brother, uncle, friend, colleague, mentor and a Dr to many. We are thankful for his life and the impact he had on the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know him.

Hearts are heavy, hearts are bleeding! Gone too soon and unexpected. But now that you on the other side of life we know you are our guardian Angel. You were a selfless human being with so much love. We love you so much Uncle John. So much. Please go rest. Until we meet again. ♥️❤️

Gone too soon! His dedication is as yet unparalleled! Gave his all to save my life from possible danger one memorable night at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and God led me to John Hope's Clinic! He left an indelible mark on my family & I! I am not sure I can come to terms with such a tragic loss!

It is incredibly difficult to write this; the loss is just too painful to bear. John was a good man, that salt of the earth, one-of-a-kind person who touched so many lives with such care, love, compassion and humor. His smile lit up the room and his laugh was contagious. He was a model father who showed up intentionally for his beautiful family. He loved his wife so fiercely and in some ways pieced her together; their home was a warm, loving and welcoming space. I appreciate his generosity, his embracing of his calling in his work and his love for people from all walks of life. He will forever be missed by the multitude of people that he healed and I pray for my sister: his wife, his beautiful children, his extended family, Lesotho and the continent at large; may you all be comforted in the knolwedge that you had the great opportunity to witness the magical being that John was. Always and forever in our hearts, you are missed, sana sana.
