I just came to know from my school friends about the unfortunate news of Piyush's passing away.
Piyush Dogra was our class mate in Govt. Boys High School, Una (HP), India from 6th standard to Tenth standard [from April 1976 to April 1981]. His mother Mrs Shyama Dogra was our teacher.
Though we both were in the same city [Chandigarh] during our college days from 1983 to 1987 [He was in Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh & I was in Govt College, Chandigarh (upto 1986)], but we never met again after our school days I.e. after April 1981.
I always have a sort of grudge against him that he did not bother to meet us again, but at the same time I was hope ful that life would give us an opportunity to meet again. But it was not to be.
He was pride of our school, and being his classmates we were always proud of him.
May his noble soul rest in peace and almighty provide strength to the bereaved family to withstand the irreparable loss
