I taught Pierre in his third year of training at the British School of Shiatsu-Do and I remember quite clearly the first time I taught him. He was quietly listening and then asked a question which showed deep curiosity and humour. I had to really think about how to answer him and as a teacher I feel these students are really valuable. He was very committed to his studies, gentle and humorous and so passionate about the work and was on a constant path of discovery with it. I have another very clear memory of standing with him in the sunlit studio in North London and giving him feedback about this Year Three project. It was an excellent piece of work which was beautifully presented and he had learnt much about the humility required of a practitioner and he was pleased I think, as we stood there and I gave him feedback on a project that really showed how much he had learnt and developed. Blessings dear Pierre
