With a group of friends we walked the Compostella from northern France to the Spanish border. He was good company and because he had led a full and interesting life always had a good story to tell. He was generous, loved to entertain and had many friends.
His birthday fell on oak apple day which always amused him. I wished him Happy Birthday this year with a card which had a bright yellow envelope. He loved the brightness of the yellow and was not at all interested in the card.
Peter I will miss your generosity and warm, kind spirit.
