Peter welcomed me into Instinet almost 7 years ago , and from the first day I found that he treated everyone who worked around him not only as colleagues but as friends. Probably my first week into Instinet I was invited to a xmas party at Peters place where he went around and thanked the wives and family of his staff, apologised for their work commitments taking away from personal time. I thought it strange at the time , but since learned this was just the kind of person he was.
He was a legendary fixture of Instinet Hong kong and loved to share stories about the history of the organisation , its technology and people, of which he was so proud .
Condolences to his family, I will miss him dearly
