My thoughts and condolences go to Peter's family. I first met Peter in the Capital Bank Motor days, and with me being in motor collections, we were allocated further responsibility to oversee senior director of CBM sales book, Whether it be Peter's, or Paul McGill, David Foster, Peter Cottle, Bill Kyle etc it taught me that you always needed to prepare for meetings, or unexpected calls when the month end provisioning figures where released. As ever working in collections, Sales in general always felt it was our issues not their bad deals !! however Peter wanted to understand and work with me, what could we do together? what was the data telling us, providing we were working together he always supported me. I recall being asked into my Director's office for something that had come across to him from Peter in Speke, I sat down wondering what it was, and it was a voice message, detailing just how important and impressed I was to his area and that we are always quick to criticise but rarely give praise and that he wanted my line manager to know what a good job I was doing... It was one of the better feelings I had in my 20 enjoyable years at CBM/BOS etc. testament to Peter was he contacted me several times when at GT and came to visit me after I had left the bank to join Crystal Collections, to pick my brains on a project he was working, and we spent all day going into detail but also being a father, football, sport in general and it was time very well spent. When he joined MNF I sent a note of congratulation and he said every time you come to Cardiff, the office door will be open to come and say hello, he, as so many other's have written here, was a very genuine and special man, and will be missed by everyone. RIP Peter.
