Penny will be truly missed. She loved teaching at City and was so enthusiastic about her students. Although I didn’t know her at the Bar she started at City just before I did and she was so generous with her help and her time. Our weekly 'catch-up' chats during lockdown were such fun & it was so wonderful to be able to talk and laugh even in the toughest of times. I always knew that she would have ideas and advice when I needed help and she knew she count count on us too. I know her family must be bereft and I can only pray that they can take some comfort from knowing how much she was a part of our lives here and that we miss her terribly. I hope that wherever you are Penny, you are still laughing and smiling. It was a pleasure to be your friend and thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me.
