Paul was an inspirational musician and has taught many of our students in the Reddish Vale community. He was a fine cook, a witty character and I have fond memories of calling over to his and Lynne's house during GCSE coursework moderation days, with Paul in full flow and a vast array of delicacies and stories for us all to enjoy. He was an outstanding pianist, ordered me my first piano book (which I neglected for the best part of a decade but have gotten around to in the last year). I have fond memories of him. He was no-nonsense, relaxed and funny. A colleague and a friend.
