I have known Paul since he first interviewed me for a job at Llanarth Court in1993. Since then I have had the good fortune and privilege of working closely with him and ultimately alongside him when I joined the compliance team. He was always an immense pleasure to work with. Gentle and good humoured but with an amazing depth of knowledge which he was always willing to share with everyone. He was also a great story teller and loved to share amazingly humorous anecdotes from his experiences in his nursing career.
Paul’s dedication to his work was only matched by his love and dedication to his canine companions. It is impossible to remember Paul without thinking of Sally, and more lately Lola, always by his side or at his feet whilst he was working or patiently waiting in the car for him to return.
Ultimately I came to regard Paul not only as a brilliant and supportive colleague but also as as a very good friend and I, as will many others, will miss him dearly. His untimely passing is so so sad and my heart goes out to his family and friends.
