"My name is Audrey. We were in college with Paul at Daystar. I was a bible major he was a business major. But with about 18 other students we formed a group called friends fellowship. We basically met together to pray and study the word and encourage each other on our college journey. Paul was our treasurer. But together with this group we supported each other, had prayer partners and they even visited my home and church in Mombasa then. He led the 1997 Mt. Kenya Climb and it was no joke. But Paul pushed us, shouted at us not to give up and none of us did. We all climbed to Lenana peak and were sure glad we did. I will forever remember Paul for his warm smile and hearty laughter. Maggie may you look to God for comfort and peace. After this COVID crisis is over I hope to visit with Maggie. We are praying for you all." ~Audrey Ahmed

As with all of us, I am terribly devastated by his passing on. Part of my processing the loss and saying good-bye included composing a song in Paul's honor.
