I first met Pat on a skiing holiday many years ago and became friends ever since, he was such a great guy with an infectious smile, we had many a good skiing/snow boarding holidays and I will always treasure those moments. One time Patrick came to my rescue I was at the bottom of one side of the mountain going to get on a chair lift and they were checking ski passes and when I showed them mine and asked my name the pass was some body else’s so he wouldn’t give it back to me. The Crystal ski rep had given me the wrong pass which I didn’t check so I was stuck so I rang Patrick and lookerly he was on his way to were I was with his snow boarding instructor so he managed to convince the instructor to get the chair lift guy to give it back to me which he did so I could carry on skiing. That was Patrick all over always willing to help and such a kind man I will sadly miss him.
This is a photo of Pat and me on a chair lift on our last holiday before he became ill as you can see this is how I will remember him having fun and laughing together.
RIP Patrick
