In loving memory of Paras KC who passed away peacefully on Wednesday 29th April 2020 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Paras passed with NO fear and as a conqueror. What a glorious exit !!. Paras ran into the hands of our loving Father in Heaven unharmed, now starting a great life with Christ Jesus till unending time. You have put on a new body, Sleep on! Sleep on! our dear husband, father, uncle, brother and friend, at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ where there is No more night, No more pain, No more tears, Never crying again. The Lord our God has become Your Everlasting Light. Paras, you will be greatly missed.

Paras family is my family’s friend. We first met in 2017 when they visited our church in Northcote where Paras and His wife committed their hearts to Jesus. They visited several times in 2018 and we became closer to them in 2019 as well as with several other church families living in the western suburbs of Melbourne. I consider myself privileged because for 3 weeks in a row last month my family and other families spent time with Paras family every day in the evening despite the covid-19 (by ZOOM). We prayed and sing songs together. My wife and I were also beside Paras at the ICU on the early Wednesday of last week after he passed on. I feel deeply saddened to have lost a great brother. At the same time, I am grateful to God that I and many other families have great memories of Paras. I want Paras memories to help everyone reading this wherever they are now. Of course, there are many things for which Paras will be remembered but there some things we will never forget: (1) Paras was brave even in the face of a very challenging illness. I remember he never allowed any negative thought of unknown to overwhelm him. Whenever we got online for our daily catch-up, he said many times, ‘’I am very fine’’..and he often ask me ‘’what about yourself!!?’’ He prayed with boldness committing his family and his health unto God in the name of Jesus Christ. (2) Paras also had great faith in Christ Jesus, was prayerful, hopeful that his illness will not harm him, and he will recover. I remember, he often said, ‘’Pray for me so that I will not have any doubt that I will be cured and will be well’’. He was very optimistic that he would be back home to his family. The medical team testified that they often find him praying while he was at the ICU. His sister Pragya also testified about his very prayerful disposition and language. For many of us, this is very comforting and inspiring. (3) Paras was very thankful and peaceful as well. The day he passed; the doctors told me that he was chatting with them and he was very peaceful and pleasant shortly before his surgery on that early morning. At our daily catchups, Paras will often talk about his progress in a thankful manner despite any other negative news he may have received from doctors; he often highlights the positive news, giving thanks to God. When COVID-19 started, and it appeared that the transplant he was to receive would be delayed, he was thankful. I remember him telling me sometimes in February that everything is a blessing - even the covid-19 event. More recently, he was very thankful that doctors found alternative donor for his bone marrow transplant he was to receive. He was enthusiastic when he shared the news at one of our catch-ups. There is no doubt that Paras is victorious in His passing away; with NO fear he walked straight and confidently into the hands of our loving father in heaven in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; death has no sting; he is a Conqueror and a Victor, now starting a great life with Christ Jesus till unending time. You have put on a new and immortal body, Never to die again! Sleep on my dear brother and friend, at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ where there is No more night, No more pain, No more tears, Never crying again. The Lord our God has become Your Everlasting Light. You will be greatly missed. We will see you in heaven.

The last three weeks of ur earthly days brother we got to know you as an amazing, loving & caring person. We also witnessed God's strength, peace & joy in you and your wonderful wife Sajita. We bless God for giving us such a wonderful brother & know we will forever be linked through Christ Jesus our Lord & Savior. Until we meet in heaven thank you brother Paras.
