We recall with warmth, our first series of hearty conversations during Lape's formal birthday celebration a little over 2 years ago. The joy and laughter that your light-hearted and witty jokes evoked; and the twinkle in your kind, smiling eyes; will remain some of our favourite memories.
Your selfless efforts at visiting our matriarch (whom you fondly called "wonderful mommy") in our family home in Lagos, all the way from your home in Abeokuta, always bearing gifts; even as recently as January 2020, will always be fondly remembered. We wish we'd had more time with you, but are grateful for the quality of all the time spent with you.
Our hearts go out to Mommy, Mrs. Adeola Durotimi Olumide, and we pray that the whole family finds solace in having built so many memories with you, for very many years.
You'll be sorely missed, Sir.
