We guess it’s natural for us to feel sad at Admiral’s exit at 82 because of who he was. He was a very rare breed of all that is noble in a wonderful father. We thank God for giving us the grace to know such a great person that was humble, transparently honest, generous, kind, friendly, full of humour and larger than life. He was a father to many and he will be greatly missed by all.
Admiral loved church music. He had his connection with God through hymns, chants and anthems. He enjoyed singing and he could sing all day long! Baba has now joined the hosts of heaven to do what he loved so much - belching out natural tenor. He would probably lead other redeemed souls to sing his favourite “We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land”, “Nipa ife Olugbala” and many more.
May God rest his soul and keep safe mama, the children and the grandchildren. May God keep all he left behind and may his memory be a blessing to us.
