Olawale Onigbode

January 25, 1968 - January 7, 2021

We have never known a man so simple, so unassuming, and yet so focused like Olawale. He was a humble man and a friend to all. He was always about the solution. He was a man of peace and generosity, almost to a fault. He was ever so ready to help. Class didn't have a role in his relationship with people, as he related freely with all and sundry. He was a leader by example. Wale was a great inspiration in the Christian faith. He was a Christian in words and in deed. He gave his all to the work of the church. To lose him just like this still confounds us, but we give all the glory to God, who knows best. Rest on, beloved brother and friend.

Pastor Wale, why do you have to leave at this time? I do not expect or actually want an answer to that question. Take solace in the word of God that says Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. We have lost you at heaven's gain. You are a rear breed, exemplary Christian. You lived a life completely sold out to God . We will surely miss you" eni rere". Rest on beloved till we meet to part no more
