Olawale Onigbode

January 25, 1968 - January 7, 2021

We have never known a man so simple, so unassuming, and yet so focused like Olawale. He was a humble man and a friend to all. He was always about the solution. He was a man of peace and generosity, almost to a fault. He was ever so ready to help. Class didn't have a role in his relationship with people, as he related freely with all and sundry. He was a leader by example. Wale was a great inspiration in the Christian faith. He was a Christian in words and in deed. He gave his all to the work of the church. To lose him just like this still confounds us, but we give all the glory to God, who knows best. Rest on, beloved brother and friend.

Pastor Wale, a very easy going and gentle Man, friend to the poor and the rich, a generous giver, your beautiful smile now a memory. Your sudden transition is what I will call the rapture of the believer, truly there is nobody you can not give a hug,ten years ago when I lost my husband as you held my hands to break the news, your simple hug and smile gave me healing . Word's will go on but I can only pray for strength and comfort for Sister Moji and your loving children, may God uphold your Mum and siblings, you have ran your race and you have finished well. Adieu my dear Pastor

It broke our hearts to lose you, but who are we to question God? He has chosen to call you home. You've left behind peaceful and special memories of you. You'll forever be in our hearts until we meet again.

    OLUWAKEMI ABEREOJE

My Big brother. This one left me speechless. I don't even know how to react without falling apart. Your birthday prayers to me drop 00:00am on the 27th of May every year. You are so loving to my children. I remember you coming to our home late evening of our baby christening even though you had gone to bury a loved one that same day. You still showed up to rejoice with me. I remember sharing a personal issue with you and you encouraged me to keep the faith and in good time I will see result. Truly I started seeing result because you agreed with me in faith. Never a dull moment with you. There is always something to catch up on. Ever loving brother with selfless service. There's nothing too big for you to give out. The last time I came to the house, you released both your car and the driver to get us to the location we were going just because I said my baby does not like heat. Yes you are really dear to my heart but you are dearer to the heart of GOD. Till we meet to part no more. Rest In Peace Uncle Wale.
