My Darling Aunty Yinka, aka Aunty Water. I remember your jokes, love for family and bubbly nature. You were a loving Aunty who had a wonderful sense of humour. My mother Adebisi Odebiyi nee Cole was your cousin. Family events were made richer by YOUR laughter and wonderful sense of humour and love. You were particularly close to my Aunty, Omoladeeni Johnson and you always joked that we the children were "water: whilst you and your cousins were "blood". That "blood is thicker than water:. Indeed you loved and from time to time you would check on me despite the fact that my mum your cousin had been gone for over 30 years. Indeed the Yoruba adage, " eniti ose oju no sabi eniti to ose ehin.". You loved faithfully. I thank GOD for your life. You were truly a lovely Aunty. Rest in peace. To you my dear cousins, may GOD our FATHER comfort and uphold you all in JESUS'S NAME. Eku eyin Aunty mi. Please be comforted by the fact that GOD called her home and she's with her beloved Maker.
