I first met Neil in the summer holidays of 1966 during a coaching/ training session with Hemsworth GS rugby team. His huge personality was pretty evident then. We have been good friends ever since.
Pontefract RUFC. owes Neil a great debt for the manner in which he devoted his time to the club as Player, Captain,,Chairman and President.. He will be very sadly missed by all those of us who had the privilege and pleasure to know him.
My sincere condolences to Jennifer and family. RIP
