Neide Magalhaes Leite

July 15, 1964 - April 13, 2023

Neide was based in our New York Office as a Senior Project Manager and had been with RWS since October 2015. Neide was a great team member but more importantly a personal friend to many of us within RWS. She had a background in journalism, working in both the US and in her native Brazil. She had an immediate impact working on a large Brazilian/US litigation project, something that would become a niche for her, but not her only talent. She was kind and loyal and quickly flourished as both a colleague and a friend to all that knew her. She was very active in the RWS community as well, volunteering her time and talents to the NYC Fun and Philanthropy committee as well as many Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. Neide will be sadly missed by so many people who had the pleasure of working with her and knowing her.

Tuesday July, 2019 - the day we volunteered at the soup kitchen in Jersey. It was hot, stuffy but we were happy to just be doing something positive all together outside our normal office routine. What a brightness, a kindness. we will miss you so much.

Neide, when I think of you, I can hear your voice in my ear and I can feel the warmth you always exuded, even in the stressful office environment rushing to hand over projects. I did not get to enjoy your presence since I moved away from New York, but now I feel you here. I remember the hot yoga class we took with Rajashree Choudhury and our conversations in the little kitchen at 55 Water St over getting coffee, tea, lunch, or snacks.
