Nathan was a great scholar and even greater human being. I remember when I first met him being very perplexed by his desire to study the things that kept him up at night but it’s clear that this was his passion and it’s rare to meet someone so passionate and dedicated to their research. Nathan was also really down to earth. I fondly remember, for instance, having passionate exchanges with Nathan about our dogs. I hope he is at peace.
