Mrs Liz Flannery

May 5, 1979 - June 24, 2021

Mrs Flannery was a well known and well loved member of the teaching team at Westgate Academy. She has been part of our Westgate family since 2005 and was a driving force behind the PTA, organising summer fayres and school discos. Mrs Flannery had lived with chronic illness throughout her life and was an exceptionally brave woman who is an inspiration to us all. She leaves behind her husband and son. Her death has left a big hole in all our lives and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

I’ll always remember helping out at the school discos and the energy Mrs Flannery had and the enjoyment she got from seeing the kids in a non classroom setting.
