George Bernard St John

February 18, 1945 - September 25, 2021

George Bernard "Monty" St. John was born in Grenada to Ellaline and Edward St. John. He was a man with a big personality and big heart who had a positive impact on many lives. He joined Barclays Bank upon leaving high school and worked with the bank until retirement after almost 40 years. He had a successful career as a Manager and Director of Barclay’s Bank in Grenada, Barbados, St. Vincent, St. Lucia and the UK. He was married to Maureen St. John for 49 years until her death in 2017. He is survived by two sons, four grandchildren as well as numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and friends. One of his favorite sayings was "The Credit goes to the Man in the Arena"
