Grandma's sense of humour was pristine; when she got sick, couldn't walk and got back from the hospital on her third visit, I had to carry her from the car on to a wheelchair. While carrying her, she answered the call of nature on my body..... "ahh grandma, e ti to si mi lara" was my remark, "ehnehn! aa mo ye igba ti o to si mi lara ni gba to wa ni kekere!" was her reply. I love you from the bottom of my heart grandma. Your love and worries over me were not in vain.

Monge was always a powerful dresser, she was always classy in picking what she wore for each occasion.

This news came to me as a rude shock. When we last saw you, you appeared to be hale and hearty and you asked after my brother the Bishop, who was your Vicar at All Soul's, Ibadan as you always did. We thank the Almighty for the good life you lived, and His blessings upon you. We are sure He will not leave you, but grant you eternal rest. And may light perpetual shine on you always till day of resurrection. We pray that the Spirit of God will comfort the loved ones left behind. Rest in Peace Mama. Ven.
