I didn't have the chance to interact with Molly in person, because I teach to a younger class. However, since the day prior to her first surgery last time she was admitted, I saw her video and fell in love with her. I started praying for her and for the entire family, I cried many times reading about her daily status at the hospital while she was battling to stay alive and strong. I prayed every day for peace and comfort. She created a huge impact on me and my family, just by knowing her story. Many times we don't understand God's plans, and many times we don't want to accept them but we we do know is that he has a purpose in everything he does. The day I saw the news of Molly passing away, I felt like I had known her for life and it was heartbreaking not only for me but for the rest of my family. While we gathered in the kitchen to prepare lunch or dinner I would give the updates to my daughters, so they got to know Molly as well. I want to send through this note my deepest sympathy to you all and I hope that God continues using Molly's story to impact many more lives, as He did when she was alive. Sincerely, Maria
