Our Minny was a remarkable person, with a sharp mind and a particular sense of humor. A great inspiration that taught us, her children, most of the things that we know. Most of all she taught us critical thinking and exploring outside the known boundaries. Difficult at times, but always an inspiration and an example to follow. As a writer and author she knew how to touch her audience with the sensitive subjects she explored. Being it the holocaust, her growing up in the Amsterdam after the war or her interest in Judaism and Baalei Teshuva, she always knew how to word it in such a way that reading her books was a real pleasure. She was a remarkable wife, an excellent mother and mother in law, and above all a very sweet grandmother for her 12 grandchildren. We will always remember her as the witty and loving person she was. תהא נשמתה צרורה בצרור החיים
