Michael Schoeb

January 7, 1978 - June 25, 2023

Michael Schoeb started his career in the Basel office, became the inspirational leader of the class leading PASS system engineering team and as one of the “founder members” of the Pall International office helped to establish its importance to the business. We all appreciated Michael for his very hands-on and loyal attitude towards all levels of people in the organization globally. His booming voice, laughter, and sheer presence over the years will be always fondly remembered by anyone that knew him.

I have been privileged to call Michael a colleague and friend for the past 18 years. Always forthright with his views, passionate about his work, and his people, and dedicated to his vision of how things should be, he was engaging and fun to work with. His keen sense of humour would always make our time together entertaining, and I will remember many entertaining evenings spent over dinner or a beer. His direct style meant that I would never have to worry about what he was saying behind my back, as I received the feedback directly and I enjoyed our many lively debates, always held with mutual respect, and always leaving us both better off for having them. I, along with many others, will miss him greatly. My thoughts and best wishes are with Michael's family at such a difficult time.
