My name’s Katy, and I live in the UK. I met Michael while living in Sydney for a short time back in 2009. He’s one of those rare gems isn’t he? You know, so full of love. So talented. A friend to everyone, bursting with positivity. A light.
We've been working on a project (we wrote a song together and I have been animating it), from the opposite ends of the earth. He had been encouraging me to finish it and I just hadn't had the time/money/energy. He was always so supportive - told me so many nice things and was so extremely excited about our project, whenever it could be done. It's rocked me that, if/when I do finish it, he'll never see it.
I'm really sorry Michael. I am so so grateful to have met you and I thought you were wonderful.
My deepest condolences go to his family and loved ones. Hope to share our project with you all one day.
