Jumbles will never be the same. Remember the time you at your jumble just so I couldn't see it?
Will's mom, Frances, shared a story. When Will and Mike were in high school Frances broke up with the man she had been dating. She was very sad about it and Mike showed up at the front door with a pint of her favorite ice cream (they worked at Double Rainbow at the time). She was so incredibly touched and this act showed Mike's incredibly sweet side. She also well knew that Mike had a very fun, but horrible side too. He and Will got up to a tremendous amount of trouble.
After school in 6th grade Mike would go to the 7-11 to play Tron or Pole Position. He was especially good at Tron. He must have had the high score on that machine. Probably spent enough quarters for 1000 loads of laundry. One day, he got an idea. He went into the neighborhood behind 7-11, knocked on a door, and told the lady who answered, "I'm on a scavenger hunt." He read from a sheet of paper, "I need a quarter, some dental floss and a piece of tape." He took the items back to the Tron machine and had visions of endless games as he lowered the quarter into the machine taped to the floss he held from the other end. Sigh, it didn't work. He had to play Pole Position for a while since the Tron game was jammed.
Nevada, early 1990's. Will: "I'm a little creeped out by the transvestite following me around the casino." Mike: "That's because I told her, 'My friend Will is a little shy. But he likes you. You should go after him.'"

Mike, It's been two weeks and I am still in shock. I forget in the mornings that you aren't there to text me information about the stock market that I will never understand, that there is no one to talk about Jeopardy with or to do Daily Jumbles with (although, let's be honest, I always crushed you), that every bro'd out movie ever is ruined. You were and will always be the truest of friends, and the world is a sadder place without you. Like all of us, you had your tics and picadillos, and there is no denying that you and I fought like children a lot. But, knowing you has made me a better person, and I will always be proud to say that I knew you, and tell stories of you. I miss you and I will always love you, Holly
