Representing the Little Rock family from India, I would like to express our deep sense of loss at the untimely demise of Melanie. Little Rock Indian School and St. Aidan's were partner schools under a British Council project. During the partnership we had occasions to visit each other's school and spend time learning from each other. I have fond memories of my visit to St. Aidan's. Melanie had come twice to Little Rock with her teachers. Our teachers who know her closely also feel sad hearing about Melanie's passing. All of us at Little Rock join Melanie's family in their sorrow. We pray that God Almighty will grant them the much needed peace and comfort at this time. We also express our solidarity with the teachers and staff of St. Aidan's in their bereavement.. God bless - Mathew C. Ninan, Director, Little Rock Indian School.
