Me, my husband and son only met Mrs Ravenscroft twice but she made the biggest impact on our lives at such a challenging time. She was a shining light, so welcoming, assuring and supportive and just a breath of fresh air. Without her guidance and advice in that short space of time we would of been lost. Although she never got to see my son start at the school we will always remember her kindness and we are lucky we got a glimpse of the amazing teacher she was. Our thoughts are with her family and friends, god bless you Mrs Ravenscroft x x

Melanie Ravenscroft

Mrs Melanie Ravenscroft dedicated her life to helping others. She was Head Teacher at St Aidans CE Primary School in Billinge until Christmas 2020 when she took early retirement. Melanie had previously worked at Eccleston Mere Primary School and Evelyn Primary School. She also spent time at Newton Primary School and at Sherdley Primary School . Melanie also worked as an English consultant for St Helens LA. She touched the lives of so many little people and their families .
