Dear Barbara and family. How moving to hear such wonderful tributes from friends but more especially the loving comments from his close family. Having grown up with Barbara I remember meeting him so well. As a rather brash young man with strong left wing views he smiled at my outbursts and always suggested a better way of framing them.
