I, like many was saddened to hear the news about Martin. I had known him since I started at County Hall and we recently joked that between us we had 80 years service with Dorset! Working closely in the same team as him over the last 5 years was great as we both shared a love of sport. I will miss our chats at work and the jokes we used to share via WhatsApp. He was very proud of Laura and Liam and loved the time he spent with his grandchildren. The greatest compliment I can say about Martin is simply that it will not be the same at work without him - I will miss him very much.
