Maroun Haddad

December 26, 1953 - April 9, 2020

There are not enough words to describe the impact that Maroun Haddad had on all the lives he touched. Many of you described him as an amazing friend, loving brother, inviting neighbour, and dependable Amo Maroun who always filled the room with laughter. He was everyone's best friend. To his son, Omar and daughters, Yara, Youmna and Jamena, he was the most incredible father. He led by example and taught us the true meaning of love, kindness, and strength. He taught us to always find the positive even when faced with life's toughest challenges. He was the best Baba we could have ever asked for. To his amazing wife, Jeannette, he was an incredibly devoted husband who always put his family first. Her soulmate, her rock, her real life superman. You stopped at nothing to give us the best life. We will miss you, your laugh, your smile, your sarcasm, your jokes and most of all your loving soul. We are so lucky to have had you in our lives and are blessed to now have you as our angel watching over us. We are honoured to have had you as a loving husband, father and friend. Thank you for always being you. We all know how much Maroun loved to tell stories and share memories. Lets all honour him by using this book to do the same. Please take a moment to click either memories or condolences and login through facebook. Allah Yerhemak Baba, we love you <3

My deepest and most sincere sympathies to one of my best friends on this planet, Jamena and the entire Haddad family. Maroun Haddad, was a man that I never had the pleasure nor the privilege of knowing. The closest I got to meeting him, was being outside of the house, in a car awaiting Jamena's arrival for a day at the beach. So close, but yet so far...However, I believe I've had the honor of seeing glimpses of this wonderful man for years now - during the time I've known his daughter. Jamena is one of the strongest, kindest, most thoughtful people I know; she is hilarious, determined and has the most pure and uplifting energy I've ever witnessed, her laugh alone makes you want to know her. Jamena is also fiercely loyal and one of the best people I know. Now, "Jamz" - as we call her, told both myself and Suenya about her father after he passed, and I was so happy to hear that I had actually known the best of her father, through her. Speaking to her, the epitome of all the best things a person could be; I know without any doubt that Maroun Haddad was a great man...for he raised a literal super hero, a confidant, a shoulder, a brain, and a force to be reckoned with - my friend, Jamena. To lose anyone, let alone a man of his stature, is a great sorrow, one that I'm so sorry both her and her loved ones have to bear; but because he was such a great man, who nurtured such an amazing woman and family - I know they'll get through this. Haddad family; you will get through this storm because of who he was, who you are and because you are of him and he you. God bless you all and may he rest well and in peace.
