Mark Rothwell

October 10, 1961 - January 4, 2021

Mark was both a friend and colleague to many people at Ocado. His compassion and willingness to see the best in others will be sorely missed, together with his great humour and generosity. We'd love for Mark's wife, Sam, to be able to share some of our memories of Mark with us, so please tell your stories, upload your photos or simply say farewell.

Gutted isn't the word when I heard the news that you had passed away Mark. We may not have seen each other as often due to Covid and all the bloody lockdowns but I always enjoyed seeing you these last few months whenever our days in the office crossed over. I'll miss you trying to ignore me as I prattled on as usual about anything and everything but just giving it away with a slight twinkle in your eye or a slight smile on your face when I managed to say something that amused you. I'll miss your warmth and helpfulness towards anyone that needed it. I'll miss us getting drunk at Xmas parties and teaming up to save colleagues from over amorous married men. But most of all, I will just miss you. My thoughts are with Sam and your family and friends. I hope that Sam knows how much she was loved by you and I hope she can take a little comfort in this moment hearing about how much you were loved by everyone you met. I hope you are at peace Mark, and until we meet again, sleep tight.
