Mark Anthony (Rajo) Novak

April 2, 1960 - August 19, 2021

Mark was an adventurous and thoughtful man. He had many friends and spoke of them often and fondly. Mark had strong convictions and lived his life based on these values - he lived gently on the earth. We will remember his stories of watching breaching whales, fishing from a kayak and the great coastal trees. Mark will forever be missed by his friends and family.

I breaks my heart to hear that Mark is gone so soon. I always looked up to uncle Mark. He taught me the about beauties of nature and the mystery of the ocean, to live in the moment, and enjoy the simple things in life. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with him on the island when I was younger, it was one of the best times I've ever had. He showed me some of the most surreal and beautiful places this world has to offer. I'll never forget the big old salmon dragging him around in his little yellow kayak as the empty handed fisherman passed by in there massive boats. He was a true wild man with a huge sense of adventure and an even bigger heart. Every minute I spent with him was epic. Thank you for the memories I will cherish them forever and miss you dearly ❤
