We were deeply shocked and saddened to hear the news of Marian’s sudden passing. I have many fond and appreciative memories of Marian since the 1960s and then later of Marian and Janet, through the apparently seamless transition into being a family of four. It was in the years when we lived in the same neighbourhood and the children were young that we enjoyed most regular contact and communication. We both appreciate all the help and support over the years. The gift that probably changed our lives most significantly, despite my initial resistance, was our first microwave oven! Lesedi remembers, swimming together, watching KTV and enjoying many hours of fun and treats at your home on the weekends. I am so pleased I was able to see you at least once in your current home and at least communicate erratically despite my living so very far away over these recent years.
