Margaret Thrower

November 2, 1938 - April 26, 2020

Margaret Thrower was born Margaret Tredwell in Birmingham. She was the widow of Eric Thrower, Mum to Linda, Steve and Jo, Grandma to Sam, Kate, Joel and Tom, sister to Andrew and a good friend to many. Throughout her years she travelled widely, met lots of people and loved life. She was involved in lots of things in her local community, including the National Trust, the Emmanuel Church and the League of Friends Chaplaincy at her local hospital. In short a real ‘doer’! She passed away suddenly after a stroke and the current situation in the UK means many cannot attend her funeral. A memorial service will be arranged when this is possible for people to attend.

So sad Margaret was a fine lady in every sense, I first met Margaret when I joined a walking group she was involved with and spent many happy hours walking in the countryside. A fine lady who will be sadly missed. RIP classic lady
