Margaret gave so much time to the NTHC hockey family and had many different hats over the years and even as she battled illness I remember her turning up at a committee meeting after having treatment at hospital that day. Always there on the Monday of the festival mop in one hand and cider in another cleaning the toilet block and just got on with it chearful as ever. I will raise a cider for you Margaret. A member of NTHC club for well over 20 years, Margaret gave a huge amount of her time and energy to the club from the very first season that she joined, until she retired at the end of last season - as a team captain, as a club representative, as club secretary for ten years and then in the position of Vice Chairperson. She epitomised the values of NTHC with her warmth, friendliness, welcoming and with her generosity
