Margaret was exactly what a good member of a club and society should be. A thoroughly decent soul. She always had a cheery word, a well thought out comment and a smile for everybody. A player, friend, club officer and general member, Margaret will be missed by many. The story that jumps to mind that epitomised her values and support of NTHC was her commitment every year to doing one of the foulest jobs of the year for the club. Cleaning the toilet block on the final morning (tidy up morning) of the Hockey Festival weekend. Margaret would appear every year at 09h00 (with her beloved Charles in tow), Dressed appropriately and rubber gloves on. Where they would return the toilet block back to its pre-festival level of hygiene! The reward she sought was being involved in a positive way with the club.... and a bacon sandwich and a half of cider!
RIP Maraget. Top lady !
